ConnectiveRx develops and delivers solutions on behalf of pharmaceutical clients and other stakeholders that help patients get and stay on their medications. These solutions leverage the various ConnectiveRx access, information and affordability offerings to meet client requirements. The ConnectiveRx customer relationship management process will be led by a Business Development Executive responsible for a specific account or accounts.
As a Senior Consultant in our Customer Success team, you will apply your analytic skills and business acumen to influence senior leaders at top U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturer clients. Shaping the approach of clients and internal teams to high-impact problems, you will combine deep understanding of our customer's business goals with industry best practices and ConnectiveRx solutions. You will be hands-on structuring, communicating, testing and delivering data-driven insights and models to improve customer success leveraging proprietary data derived from 2 billion annual prescription transactions from 190 million patients. In addition to advisory projects, the Senior Consultant will have a highly visible role providing named support to key accounts delivering enterprise trainings, pro-active support and building professional relationships to sustain and grow our business relationships. Finally, as a member of our broader Analytics organization you will collaborate with our Analytics Product and Operations teams to deliver and continuously improve capabilities.
Consulting and Insight Delivery: Work directly with clients to ideate, scope, structure and deliver analytics which solve client business problems. Exhibit great consultative traits: seeking to understand before being understood, questioning assumptions and breaking down complex problems into testable hypotheses. Leverage experience in health & life sciences to deliver client-facing presentations which demonstrate understanding of client's business, decompose problems into key drivers and deliver clear take-away recommendations and next steps. Tailor analytical and presentation approaches for technical and non-technical audiences, develop professional relationships with customers to drive insights to action and resolve challenges collaboratively.
Analysis, Modeling and Digging
Access data through "enterprise data warehouse" and external market research sources such as IMS. Normalize data, validate quality and model using appropriate tool for the job including SQL, Excel and scripts written in SAS and Python. Dig deep, find root causes and design elegant, scalable solutions. Leverage resources & best practices from Analytics Product and Operations where appropriate.
Strategic Sales Support
Leverage expertise and professional relationships to assist new business development, product upsell/cross-sell and customer onboarding & training.
Analytics Best Practices Development
Learn the full breadth of our product line solutions, contribute new best practices to our knowledge base, help recruit and train new peers in Analytics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Working knowledge of health & life sciences industry. Does not necessarily need to work for a health & life sciences company, but may work with via enterprise technology, management consulting, investment banking, agency and/or market research.
Develops creative data-driven, industry-relevant solutions to customer's evolving business needs. Breaks down complex problems into testable hypotheses and applies industry knowledge to identify competitive, customer and marketplace factors potentially impacting commercial success of drug.
Analytical presentation skills and customer orientation: verbal, written, data visualization, PowerPoint. Passion for understanding customers, flexible to adapt methods to customer needs and highly conscientious in execution and project management.
Rigor & accuracy testing hypotheses using a combination of standard and developed data and models along with standard tools such as SQL, Excel and pre-defined scripts. Shares knowledge/collaborates well to enable ConnectiveRx to build and grow its analytics capabilities.
Experience selling to pharmaceutical brand and/or market access managers either directly or in partnership with a business development team.
Experience programming scripting languages (VBA, Python, R or SAS) or business intelligence (PowerBI, Tableau, etc) to demonstrate ability to build scalable analytics
Experience applying Economics pricing theory in affordability, couponing or revenue & yield management.
4 to 6 years' experience in a world-class customer success or analytics team in health & life sciences context. Does not need to be a health & life sciences company but should work with industry via enterprise technology, management consulting, investment banking, agency and/or market research.
At least 1 year in a customer-facing role. Ideal profile started as an analyst, grew to customer facing and wants to continue that development.
Excellent communication skills with PowerPoint, data visualization and verbal. Experience building trusted professional relationships independently and ability to present and engage senior level groups in partnership with a business development leader.
Highly skilled with SQL, Excel and execution of pre-defined scripts
BS/BA degree in relevant quantitative discipline (ex: Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or Engineering); Strong academic record from top educational institution strongly desired, e.g. 3.5-4.0 GPA
