Provide support to the System Engineering organization as a member of the fast-paced Technical Services team. Process and review software products and documentation for the U.S. Navy Aegis Program and the Missile Defense Agency Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Program. Perform data and document version control duties with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. On a daily basis, use comprehensive knowledge of departmental procedures and operations to prepare data items for internal and external review, meticulously compare input to output documents, and execute deliveries in accordance with government requirements and Lockheed Martin standard policies and procedures. Exercise acute attention to detail in the exchange of data with multiple stakeholders, including various departments of the government and military.
As requested, support changes boards (CCBs), for SW and HW (EPDM). Assist in the administration, review, processing, and approval of SW and HW changes.
Previous experience creating and reviewing records or documentation required. Experience with database, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or desktop publishing applications. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Experience with documentation or in data-intensive environment. Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Intermediate or higher MS Office skills. End user experience with IBM Rational DOORS or other database applications.
Previous experience with prioritizing effectively, coordinating with others, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written). Highly accurate typing and record keeping skills. Ability to effectively check own work for accuracy and completeness.
Ability to learn new processes and software applications. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to work occasional overtime as needed to meet critical deadlines.
