Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Editor to join our news team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of language and style, with a love for local news reporting and storytelling. Our editors wear the multiple hats of reporter, editor, proofreader, community watchdog, photographer, social media manager and digital content producer. The demands are high, and so are the personal rewards.
Duties
- Working with some part-time help, coordinate and lead all local news coverage.
- Oversee print layout, digital posting and social media accounts.
- Represent the company in both community events, and in customer (reader) service.
Experience
- Strongly prefer someone who has worked in local journalism, particularly in newspapers.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
