What You’ll Do

We are expanding our New Business team in order to continue with our company’s successful growth and we’re looking for top talent to join us and grow with us! Our mission is to enable innovation within the financial services and commercial real estate services industries through the integration of Reis’ best-in-class real estate data and analytics. Using our API platform, businesses can seamlessly interact with our proprietary data and analytics to improve their internal efficiencies, better assess market conditions and drive revenue producing initiatives.

The New Business Sales Executive - API will be responsible for building out a new vertical, establishing, expanding, and managing relationships at some of our largest financial institutions and commercial real estate clients, as well as with third-party service providers within the industry. You will lead meetings with potential client stakeholders ranging from product owners in the trenches to senior executives, engaging on a range of topics from the technical aspects of data sharing, to regulatory/policy issues, to a deep understanding of Reis's core products. You will also work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to share information and troubleshoot issues which can help strengthen our integrations.

Thoroughly identify and prioritize potential customers and individuals to be prospected.
Present in-person and online demonstrations to key decision makers across several verticals, including debt and equity institutional investors.
Research and understand client’s key business drivers and data needs across all levels of the evaluation team: Director, VP and C-level executives.
Develop product subject matter expertise and align with other team members and management for collaboration and best practices.
25-40% of meetings are in person where business travel is required.
Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is required.
5+ years’ demonstrated success in B2B sales requiring API integrations.
Experience in financial services or commercial real estate industries a huge plus.
Deep negotiating and deal structuring skill set required, with proven success in structuring complicated deals and navigating challenging conversations to achieve a win-win result.
Strong executive and sales presence with a focus on integrity and mutual benefit.
Technical and product affinity is a must.
Understanding of the value of sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn, SendBloom, etc.
Demonstrated experience with monthly or quarterly sales cycle and forecasting.
