Appleton is collecting a pool of qualified, talented candidates who would be interested in Administrative positions within the Dallas Independent Schools area, positions are not currently available, but could potentially include: Receptionist, Secretary, Executive Secretary, Clerical, and Data Entry. Assists in filing correspondence and other records
Greet visitors and read and route incoming mail
Compile and maintain standard reports and records
Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing
Maintain highest level of confidentiality at all times
Respond to request regarding inquires or materials needed
Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material
Create, maintain, and enter information into databases
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions Assists with evaluation to determine student progress
Perform other job related duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
High School Diploma
Clear Federal Fingerprint and Background Check
Ability to type 45 WPM
Employment contingent upon completion of Appleton U certification module
Able to verify employment eligibility through completion of Federal I9 Form
Current proof of negative TB skin test
Ability to work on an on-call basis
Friendly and approachable attitude
Prior related experience working with children
Punctual and professional (Consistent Punctuality is a MUST!)
Maintains a professional appearance.
Able to lift heavy objects up to 65 lbs.
