The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for deploying, measuring and continuously improving global and local campaigns to drive awareness and preference for Vertiv and its brands among key decision makers at customers, partners and influencers.
He/she will oversee integrating, implementing and enriching central marketing processes across all businesses in local markets to increase both transactional and relational sales leads generation to directly support achieving commercial objectives of all Vertiv entities in North America.
The Field Marketing Manager will leverage global and geo-based programs and resources to increase country-based marketing efficiency. Will manage marketing budget for developing local priority segments, measure ROI and report productivity trends to local/ regional management as well as to the central marketing team in a standardized way.
Devise region-specific marketing campaigns with the goal of executing locally to achieve marketing KPIs and support sales & regional growth objectives.
Plan, organize, and execute marketing and sales programs. Such as, targeted pipeline acceleration programs.
Execute marketing activities, with a focus on communication and lead generation. Leveraging the channel, alliances, and regional partnerships in the go-to-market strategy.
Build and execute plans to support all territory marketing including prospects, current Vertiv customers and Local Vertiv representatives (manufacturers reps).
Manage the end-to-end lead process, constantly looking at ways to improve the intake and conversion of the lead funnel.
Align with and secure buy-in from multiple stakeholders, including sales, alliances, channel, local Vertiv representatives and marketing colleagues.
Report on campaign success and business contribution.
Manage the region’s marketing budget.
University degree in Marketing, BA or similar
5+ year practical experience of working in a marketing environment, ideally within a high-tech/IT/electronics company
3+ years in a marketing leadership role (experience managing teams – internal and external)
Language skills: Fluent English, French and/or Spanish an asset.
Working knowledge of Customer and Partner Relationship Management tools
Working knowledge of data analytics tools, like PowerBI
Technical / Functional skills:
Knowledge of IT/Telco/Datacenter Market
Excellence in digital marketing (Inbound/Content)
Knowledge of basic channel business principles
Experience in CRM and marketing automation

Teamwork oriented (locally, globally)
Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
Intrinsically willing to go the extra mile for the teams´ success
