About the job
Corporate Engineering is an extremely diverse organization responsible for inventing, building, implementing and supporting all of Google’s internal tools and systems. In Corporate Engineering, our mission is to build innovative products that inspire and enable Googlers to be successful every day. As the company grows in scale and complexity, we ensure we remain true to our innovation-centered culture.

One of our biggest challenges as a company is to ensure that the policies, procedures and platforms continue to scale. People Operations is at the heart of this evolution and has long led many innovations in HR, including a data based approach to people management. There is a significant opportunity to apply the very best of Google’s core assets such as machine learning, knowledge graph, data analytics to ensure that People Operations realizes their vision to be leaders in all aspects of HR, Talent Management, Diversity and Inclusion and Operational Excellence.

You have a deep appreciation for how technology is fundamentally changing the way we work and how our platforms need to change to meet the needs of future generations of Googlers. This means understanding how AI will reinvent talent management, how “Internet of Things” will drive employee well being, how social apps will change how we think about development feedback and how micro-learning technology will be at the heart of continuous learning.

We put Googlers’ interests at the center of everything we do, have a bias towards action, product excellence and creating and open and respectful culture where everyone can continue to grow and learn.
Google Cloud helps millions of employees and organizations empower their employees, serve their customers, and build what’s next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. Our products are engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware. And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers — developers, small and large businesses, educational institutions and government agencies — see the benefits of our technology come to life.
