Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations Analysis, this role will partner with operational leadership to develop best practices that will drive restaurant revenue and optimize profitability.
Participate in Regional, General Manager and Culinary Manager Meetings providing analysis that recognizes both successes and opportunities. Highlight emerging trends and their impact so action is prioritized appropriately.
Conduct a variety of complex analyses and resolution of cost issues based on current industry standards.
Participate in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods and targets, and assist in identifying performance improvement opportunities.
Proactively identify discrepancies in data, determine cause and communicate questions / adjustments to appropriate departments.
Initiate follow-up and planning phone meetings with Senior Restaurant Management and General Managers to analyze prior week's / prior month’s performance and discuss expectations for the next period.
Assist Senior Analyst and Concept COO in creating Budgets and Business Plan targets and New Restaurant Pre-Opening budgets.
Provide reports, analysis and participate in special projects as requested by the Director of Operations Analysis.

Requirements:
Two to four years progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
Requires ability to be an insightful business advisor to all levels of management, from operations managers to senior field executives and the CFO.
Skill and motivation to grow with the company into more challenging opportunities.
Excellent written and communications skills with strict attention to detail.
Ability to develop and champion corrective ideas based on analysis findings
Highly proficient on all MS Office products, especially Excel and Access.
Ability to work quickly and accurately while adhering to tight deadlines.

Education: The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Experience in a full-service restaurant environment is required for this role.
