What you’ll be doing...

This includes the way we protect our people and our business. You’ll be assigned to an area covering around 300 retail stores to evaluate risks and ensure all aspects of retail security and loss prevention are functioning correctly. You’ll also investigate retail fraud and burglaries and prepare detailed investigative reports to support the resolution of cases. Acting as a trusted advisor at all levels, the business will be reliant upon your expertise to reduce and control losses and protect our employees and assets.
Investigating cases of retail fraud and burglaries and preparing detailed reports.
Conducting regular retail store security assessments to evaluate physical and electronic security standards.
Reviewing operational controls and deficiencies with field and store management.
Developing and presenting materials to retail store employees to raise awareness of retail security and loss prevention standards and practices.
Identifying best practices and focused crime prevention solutions, and partnering with teams to oversee their implementation.
Developing professional relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement and retail associations to understand crime trends and emerging loss prevention issues.
Responsible for execution of a comprehensive shrink management program designed to reduce shrink exposure for the retail stores within the assigned Market. This is accomplished through proactive investigation, improvement of operational controls, store visits, and awareness training.
What we’re looking for...
You understand the importance of retail security and loss prevention for companies and their employees and the magnitude of the risk of emerging retail security threats. Analyzing situations to understand root causes and communicating your assessment comes easily to you. As a multi-tasker, you thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment where your organization and time management strengths are needed. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working with teams to implement security and loss prevention plans and identify risks.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience of retail operations, inventory control reconciliation, and/or current loss prevention technological applications.
Even better if you have:
CFI, CFE, CPP, LPQ, or LPC professional qualification.
Interviewing skills including Wicklander/Zulawski or Reid interview training.
Investigative skills and experience writing detailed investigative reports.
Microsoft Office Suite or G-Suite experience with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to execute strategic plans, practices and procedures
Effectively partners with store, district, and executive management.
Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work and produce effective results in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
