Now hiring a part time receptionist with the hours of 4pm-8pm and every other weekend 10am-6pm.
PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
Under general supervision of the Administrator, the Receptionist position provides reception, secretarial and clerical support as assigned by the Administrator. Functions strictly within limits of assigned responsibilities and within well-defined policy, procedure and guidelines.
Answer telephone, route calls, receive/transmit messages.
Greet visitors and direct to proper areas.
Schedule and arrange meetings and appointments for the administrator and department heads as requested.
Perform typing, photocopying, mailing for administrator and department heads as requested.
Establish and maintain effective filing systems.
Compile data/prepare reports, agendas, schedules as requested.
Maintain office equipment in safe, working condition; maintains inventory of office supplies.
Be responsible for assisting residents to and from activities of their choice and to modify schedules, meal times, therapies, etc. to maximize involvement in activities.
Observe and abide by all HIPAA rules and regulations to ensure that personal health information is protected during its collection, use, disclosure, storage and destruction within Care Initiatives; and to ensure only the minimum necessary information is known to function in this position.
Work cooperatively with facility staff.
Consistently demonstrate responsibility, accountability and dependability.
Working knowledge of office machines operation, such as photocopier, fax.
Typing skills of at least 40 words per minute.
Functional Literacy in written and spoken English.
Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient interpersonal relationships and communication skills.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Complete assignments timely, completely and accurately.
DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY
Authority is delegated to the individual in this position to:
Screen telephone calls and route to the appropriate individual or department.
Answer all questions promptly, courteously and accurately.
Route all deliveries to appropriate departments.
Obtain information, when appropriate and relay information to appropriate individual(s).
