The Records Management department provides accessible and relevant information by developing, implementing, and overseeing processes and procedures to ensure the accurate and timely handling of constituent biographical and demographic information, which enables development to fundraise with meaningful data that is continually acquired and enriched in order to maximize its strategic fundraising capabilities.
This position assists the Records Automation Associate with pre- and post-processing of automation files. This includes Data Health files, CVHS files, Grad Load, Student Load, Faculty-Staff load, and other projects.
KEY AREAS OF FOCUS:
Update addresses, phone numbers, and email on existing constituent records.
Run audit queries in the alumni/development database and fix issues.
Help manipulate files in Excel to prepare them for import into the alumni/development database.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:
Education & Certifications:
Graduation from a standard high school or approved equivalent.
Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office 2010 is preferred, especially experience using Excel and Access.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines is required.
Ability to collaborate with team members; provide energy and enthusiasm.
Ability to follow procedures and execute processes.
Must use a computer terminal and view a computer screen for extended periods of time. Must talk in person or by phone (frequently and sometimes for extended periods) to people on campus and across the country. Must constantly use visual acuity to check printed and designed materials of various types. Must be able to navigate within the OSU Foundation. Typical office working conditions.
