We are currently seeking a Material Control Specialist II to join our team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Transport material to and from Simi Valley all sights

Stockroom work including:
Storing goods in the stockroom

Picking parts to work orders and sales orders

Performing transactions of parts movement in Oracle

Performing and record cycle counts

Primary responsibility is to control and track materials from receipt through storage to issue

Receive materials and match up packing slips and parts with open Purchase Orders (PO’s)

Process receiving transactions as materials are received.

Fill shortages to Manufacturing Orders (MO’s) orders on the shop floor

Pull parts to support inventory requisitions, independent demand, and sales orders

Pull parts for work orders using a pick list

Ensure that all inventory transactions are completed upon every material movement

Other stockroom-related activities as required

Required Qualifications & Background

Attention to detail and precision in pulling correct part and qty required

Oracle experience highly desirable,

Able to lift up to 50 lbs,

Good math skills and basic computer skills,

Strong sense of urgency.

Previous stockroom / Inventory experience required.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Familiarity with electronics manufacturing is desirable.

Attention to detail.

Knowledge of safe material handling practices and the safe handling of electro-static sensitive components (ESD)

Must be able to work in a small, effective materials team

Take responsibility for an assigned portion of the daily output of the stockroom in support of production, product development, and engineering projects

Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision

Ability to use a computerized inventory control system

Must have good oral and written communication skills.Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and delivery personneel

Additional Requirement: This position requires you have access to data and technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants cannot be hired until they are qualified to have such access. To meet this qualification you must be a current U.S. Person and provide documentation as such. Some positions due to contracts will require current U.S. Citizenship.
