  • Develop store specific merchandise floor plans / model layout for products in conjunction with the operations team and external vendors
  • Collaborate with order management to place orders for retail stores, including merchandise and logistics coordination for store openings and ongoing replenishment
  • Work with Merchandising Agency to create Merchandising Playbook for all new store openings
  • Manage merchandising for new store openings, work with agencies to provide direction and as a resource for questions
  • Manage all new product launches and coordinate with all departments (IT, Inventory, POP/Marketing, Training) to launch products successfully ensuring consistent brand standards
  • Develop and manage a budget for in-store promotional and pre-opening expenditures that achieves department, channel, and corporate objectives.
  • Develop sign kits and POP ordering program, work with marketing team to utilize national brand images and re-size for use in Flagship stores. Create kits for each store based on their specific signage needs
  • Develop in house design capability for signage
  • Negotiate and optimize pricing on all marketing printed materials across window displays, catalogs, store sign kits, in-store displays, and inventory maintenance
  • Collaborate with Store Managers and Operations Team to provide in store marketing support for all store events
  • Visit stores to review store layout and provide support to maintain consistency of store merchandising
  • Execute promotional calendar for retail stores: secure preferred product placement, re-merchandise, place signage and point-of-sale materials, and generate awareness and enthusiasm prior to the launch of the promotion
  • Analyze the market and competition to keep up to date with industry trends, hot items, and new vendors. Use this knowledge to develop a brand-right, competitive, and differentiated product assortment that drives top line sales. Share this knowledge with the corporate team to influence future development


  • 5+ years of merchandising coordinator/specialist experience, ideally with a luxury retailer, is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with SmartSheet or similar project management tools is required
  • An ideal candidate is a seasoned professional that has been part of the store opening process with another retailer
  • Drives performance, holding self and others accountable to a higher standard to achieve results
  • Visual merchandising skills and knowledge of principles of retail psychology to facilitate product display in a way that enhances consumer purchasing decisions
  • Self-motivated and can self-direct their own daily activities and provide third parties with general oversight
  • Detailed-oriented, capable and willing to perform detailed level tasks associated with projects, while also managing projects and activities from a big picture perspective
  • An approachable and unguarded leader that shares honest and constructive feedback with team; sincere with communication
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
  • Up to 50% travel required
