Description/Job Summary To execute commodity trades within Company guidelines and as directed by AgriBusiness management. To maintain records and reports related to futures trading and position reconciliations.

Responsibilities/Duties
Execute futures trades associated with buy and sell - orders from grain elevators, merchandisers, management, and external customers on the CME/CBOT.
Research, analyze, and reconcile discrepancies of the daily risk position to ensure compliance with the risk management policy. Validate positions and ensure they are trued up and correct.
Coordinate all back office activities associated with the hedge desk function.
Enter broker and cash activity into SMARTsoft
Reconcile all futures trades to cash activities sheets
Confirm and reconcile broker fills
Prepare and reconcile 8000 account (Hedge Deck Positions)
Prepare and validate the daily/weekly/monthly CHD report
Coordinate the Open Offer Report (Cash Contract Price objectives)
Prepare the weekly reporting package for risk management meeting
Perform all work within established federal, state and local laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Required Experience
1-3 years
Preferred Education
BS Degree Business, Accounting, AgriBusiness or Agriculture
Practical work experience in Hedging & Futures can be substituted for education
Preferred Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communications
Strong analytical and math
Understanding of systems and software applications
Understanding of commodity merchandising or trading
Understanding of Cash and Futures contracts
