About the Role
This position is responsible for providing financial support to the Professional Solutions Division for Product Development & Global Marketing. The key areas of focus will be financial planning, analysis, and control for the business units. In addition, this person will be a key business partner with the Product Development and marketing teams to drive strategy, process improvements, change management initiatives, and sales and margin performance. This position is in a highly complex and dynamic environment requiring an understanding of the business and summarizing and communicating the financials to allow management to make the best, informed business decisions.
What You Will Do
Perform monthly variance analysis of budgeted, forecasted and actual financial performance, interpreting and documenting variance drivers
Assist in creating an updated valuation model “business case tool” which will be the basis for all new product introduction “NPI” financial investment analysis & decision making
Deliver timely and insightful expense analysis to senior-level executives
Perform ad-hoc analyses of regional / NPI sales, pricing changes, inventory management, contribution margin changes, and selling and marketing costs across the product portfolio &/or region
Assist sales teams to assess project deal pricing, discounting and impact on contribution margin
Support Product Development leadership to identify opportunities for business growth in new and existing markets
Lead the CAPEX Review Process
Help drive consistency and standardization as it relates to expense planning and reporting
Deliver continuous improvements to planning, reporting and analytical revenue and operating expense processes
Lead Finance training programs, including BI quarterly training, for the Product Development & Marketing teams as well as coach and mentor Finance department staff
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Business
7 - 10 years related to finance and accounting experience in a dynamic and fast pace environment. Corporate Finance experience.
Leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs
Demonstrated leadership experience with change management in the areas of processes and systems
SAP and Business Intelligence reporting systems experience highly desired
Extensive experience in Microsoft Office software required, including high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

What Makes You Eligible
Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic as needed
Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
This position requires the use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle.
