Project Coordinator

The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative and data management support for larger and complex projects to retain focus on overall project achievement by the entire project team. This includes, but is not limited to, responsibility for creating, coordinating, maintaining, and updating project schedules, assisting with the development of project plans, and providing support at project meetings. This role is essential in supporting the Senior Project Managers and Project Managers (technical and non-technical) to ensure timely, accurate, seamless completion of various projects for the enterprise.

Completes work assignments, with guidance and input from Project/Program Managers, both technical and non-technical, by applying up-to-date knowledge in various projects to meet deadlines
Leverages an understanding of policies, data, and resources to support projects or initiatives and collaborates cross-functionally to solve business problems
Provides document management, test coordination, compilation of status reports, and documentation for issues and risks to ensure proper activity of sub-team toward the project plan
Performs basic analysis such as critical path analysis and stakeholder analysis to support project continuation and progress, and to provide data for critical project decisions
Monitors progress of project sub-teams by ensuring assignment and tracking of tasks for team members, highlighting the need for resources to support completion of project activities, and promoting project objectives and vision with project team
Supports program and project teams by regularly communicating about project milestones, responding to project requests, communicating schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and time constraints
Ensures schedule data and changes are accurately interpreted and accounted for, providing real-time updates to Project Managers regarding scheduling conflicts and budget disparities
Inputs data to track and report on key metrics (i.e. deliverables, financials, duration, benefits) and drafts status reports of key project performance metrics
Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or related field; Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
1+ Experience supporting basic project tasks
Experience with Excel
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Project Management Institute (PMI) or other project/program management certification
1+ Experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of project life cycle methodologies (e.g., SDLC, process management, organizational change, Six Sigma, Lean, or related skill)
Experience or Exposure to Power BI
