Summary Description:
An experienced media sales professional to provide TV & digital marketing solutions, sell and service new and existing national advertisers. The position requires established media contacts at ad agencies and clients, an intense desire to succeed, and a successful track record in TV media sales.
Job Function:
Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain agency & client account list
Negotiate TV media deals and drive NFL Media revenue by closing new business and managing renewals
Present NFL Media and initiatives to Buyers, Planners, and Clients on an on-going basis (weekly)
Responsible for current & projected sports/cable marketplace analysis
Oversee all stewardship of multiple advertising agencies account groups, including Corporate Sponsor accounts through client AOR
Identify and develop media sales opportunities, leveraging all NFL Media
Assist National VP of Sales on budget forecast analysis and projections
Ability to listen well to client needs and develop advertising programs that exceed their expectations
Work in conjunction with Programming/Content and Integrated Marketing Departments to develop and maintain customized sales proposals
Responsible for maintaining and evaluating current revenue along with anticipated revenue growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with key account personnel on all levels of agency: Buying, Planning
Cultivate strategic client-side relationships to secure revenue growth and build credibility in the marketplace
Identify, understand and communicate trends within client markets and industries

Qualifications
Education or Equivalent Experience:
BS/BA degree required
Minimum of 7-10 years TV agency and or sales experience with an emphasis on sports
Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and others as required)
Special Skills / Abilities Required:
Intimate knowledge of TV & Sports marketplaces
Must have a deep understanding of competitive media such as broadcast, cable, digital, mobile, and social
Experience selling national sports and cross-platform sponsorships a plus
Established Rolodex of TV agency and client-direct personnel
Preferred consideration is given to candidates with extensive productive experience/relationships with Optimum Sports
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently
Think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently both internally and externally
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
