Position Summary: Consultant Epic
These roles are responsible for understanding clients' business practices, market position, and deployment of technology in healthcare environments. Duties may include performing technical and business related research to support client needs, assisting in the installation/implementation, development, and analysis of materials/process/systems including technical training. Individuals in this job family may have regular interaction with clients.
Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
Develops solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
Works independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables. Responsible for entire projects or processes within a technical area. May be responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower level technical staff.
Communicates with internal and client project team members. Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
Contribute to the strategy for achieving objectives, identifying the steps necessary to successfully achieve project milestones
100% travel to client sites required.

Qualifications:Education and Minimum Experience:
Typically requires BS (or related healthcare practitioner certification) and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. (Generally has no past consulting experience).
Seasoned technical individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. Responsible for developing solutions to technical problems and issues that may be difficult and unclear.
Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.
