The CPOE Coordinator is the facility resource responsible for supporting the deliverables related to advance clinical applications.
This position is responsible for coordinating the completion of project assessments and assisting with the development of education/training materials.
This individual participates in the company-wide community for CPOE, and works with their division peers to ensure advanced clinical applications are well supported throughout the facility.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
1) Implementation and support of division-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to CPOE and advanced clinical applications and tools.
2) Training a variety of clinicians on advanced clinical applications
3) Development, testing, execution, and support of tools and resources focused on the CPOE and advance clinicals.
4) Facilitation and project support of CPOE functions and implementation.
5) Resolution of issues and requests from the end users.

Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
6 months or more CPOE nursing informatics or equivalent experience required with CPOE Train-the-Trainer level knowledge/expertise
Current Florida State Registered Nurse license
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills. In depth understanding of Meditech and Advanced Clinicals. Knowledge of facilities clinical and operational processes.
