The IT Systems Administrator role is responsible for implementing technological solutions to solve business problems, creating a schedule for analysis, implementation and testing of technology and working with Shared Services IT, as well as in-house technical teams to ensure consistency of use, among other duties. Moreover, the IT Systems Administrator will communicate technical instructions in understandable business terms and produce technical user manuals, requiring exceptional interpersonal and communicative ability. This individual works closely with the Manufacturing System owners, local and global IT delivery teams, and external partners to recommend integration solutions, optimize systems operation, streamline systems processes, and optimize IT spend.

Analyzing a company's IT system and infrastructure.
Diagnosing IT system problems, inefficiencies and weaknesses.
Planning a timeline for completion of projects.
Understanding a client's business needs.
Implementing a technological solution to meet business needs.
Analyzing and determining security threats.
Providing advice on technology best practices.
Collaborating with technical in-house team to ensure familiarity with technology.
Training staff to use the new IT system.
Monitoring the success of IT solution.
Producing detailed reports on the efficacy of the technology
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of related experience or bachelors' degree in information technology or related technical field and 2+ years of related experience.
Virtualization, Server & Network Infrastructure

Subject matter expert in virtualization technologies from VMWare and Microsoft.
Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS Compute, Networking and Storage
Experience administering Dell EMC SAN (ECS, XtremIO), NetApp (FAS, E2700), and Nasuni
Experience with UCS Central, UCS Director, UCS Manager, UCS Performance Manager, or UCS Fabric Interconnects.
Experience with designing, supporting, and administering of VMware 5.5 or later Virtual environments
Knowledge of remote access and system management tools such as RDP, Microsoft Systems Operations Manager, Microsoft Systems Configuration Manager, IBM Big Fix, UCS Manager, HP Integrated Lights-Out, Dell iDRAC and Microsoft Active Directory.
Work with Cisco Nexus 7000, Catalyst 6800 and 3800, Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco 3945 Routers, and F5 load balancers.

Administering Active Directory (AD) and GPO’s.
Knowledge of PKI in Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2016
Management of DNS, DHCP, and DFS in a Windows 2012 landscape.
Understanding of monitoring best practices, preferably with SCOM/SCCM understanding and experience.
Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; Physical Server architecture; Virtualization Technologies
Experience with patch management solutions (like BigFix)
Basic level knowledge of programming/scripting, either in PowerShell
Basic understanding of SQL DB and Middleware installation and management; SQL and IIS
Provide Tier 3 support for customers and technical staff.
