Are you interested in working on open source, containers and Kubernetes at a leading hyper-scale cloud? Azure is looking for engineers with knowledge and interest in containers, Kubernetes and open source DevOps tools like Helm and Terraform. You can help shape the future of Kubernetes at Microsoft!
In this role, you will be responsible for adding new features and enhancements to Kubernetes and create open source solutions that enhance the entire Kubernetes ecosystem. Provide support to enable new features in various Azure services.
We are seeking candidates at all levels who love to engineer solutions from concept to production. Developers on the team wear many hats and demonstrate technical breadth, depth, and leadership. You will participate in all stages of the engineering lifecycle. Our organization is looking for someone who is:
Passionate about distributed systems and building high scale services
Likes to work in an agile development team that iterates rapidly
Enjoys new technological challenges and excels at solving them
Excited about making better software and continuously improving the development, integration and deployment process
Bachelors of Science (BSc) degree or greater in Computer Science or related technical/engineering discipline
Experience working in DevOps or on open source projects is a significant plus
Proven track record of design and technical accomplishment
Experience implementing and/or operating large scale software services, components, or feature areas
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms is a plus
Effective collaborator, experienced in creating technical partnerships across teams
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
