We are a team orientated successful Medical Office that is looking for a Front Desk Medical Receptionist that is willing to give Outstanding Customer Service to the families of our practice.
Welcomes patients by greeting them in person or via telephone; answering or referring inquiries to the appropriate place.
Optimizes parent satisfaction; provider time by scheduling appointments in person or via telephone.
Comes to work with a positive attitude; shows enthusiasm and confidence. Demonstrates appropriate verbal and non-verbal behavior.
Displays exceptional skill in communicating with patients/parents and managing difficult situations; maintains the reception area.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information in the EMR.
Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient payments.
Verifies insurance to determine copay, deductible, etc.
Medical Office Receptionist Requirements:
Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing , Professionalism, Quality Focus, Familiarity with EMR and insurance.
