Works with team members to develop regional company strategy in accordance with GHQ/BU/Product/Region and Functional Strategies.
The Government Risk Analyst will keep a pulse on government actions/proposals and will provide direction and input into YNCA strategic planning .
Understands Yazaki global business along with current and future automotive industry market trends to determine necessary actions for the company.
Supports RHQ activities and ensures smooth communication between all applicable parties in line with regional company strategy.
Develops & manages pro-active legislative tracking process for Federal & State actions/proposals/laws
Prepares regular reports on the status Federal & State actions/proposals/laws and its effect/risk on Yazaki Operation
Establish/Maintain relationship with industry groups focused on Federal & State activity (MEMA, OESA, SAE, etc) and responds to inquiries
Assists other departments (BU/FG) with studies/research for Government related areas
Supports other team members with business development activities that involve Government related challenges
Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Political Science preferred. Will consider a Law or International Business Degree or other applicable field of study.
Previous experience in Government Affairs, Corporate Strategy, Planning
A strong understanding of the Automotive industry is necessary to be successful in this position.
All levels of experience will be considered.
Career level of selected candidate will be dependent upon previous experience.
15%-25% domestic and international travel
