About the job

IHCDA is currently searching for an experienced federal or state grant administrator to fill their role as Program Manager-*Weatherization Program Lead*. This position oversees the Weatherization program and utility rebate programs. The Weatherization program provides energy efficient upgrades and repairs for low income Hoosier families. Core responsibilities include ensuring timely disbursement of funding and compliant operation of the program in monitoring and reporting. You must be strategy-minded, people-oriented, and have a track record of meeting deadlines to be successful in this position.

A day in the life

  • Help craft policies and procedures that allow the Weatherization program to effectively serve low income Hoosier families.
  • Ensure that our grant programs are following federal and state regulations
  • Monitor the use of funding and adjust allocations as necessary
  • Ensure that monitoring reports and federal reports are collected and submitted on time
  • Build relationships with subgrantees, statewide and national association staff, and federal funders
  • Work as a team with the Program Analyst and Policy and Technical Specialist to deliver the program effectively
  • Assist in program administration including preparation of grant agreements and amendments, issuance of policy manuals, and negotiation of contracts with professional service providers.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area is required (Business Administration, Public Administration, Building Science, or other related area).
  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • State or federal grant experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience in building science, construction, or Weatherization preferred
