Full Job Description
Responsible for age appropriate exercise selection and programming for PSM's 31 partnered schools and 10 sports club. Organizes, implements, and supervises large group training sessions. Performs baseline testing on diverse athlete populations, data entry, and facility maintenance.
BSc or BA in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or other closely related field.
Certifications by the National Strength and Conditioning Association or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association required.
One year's experience working in a human performance/ strength and conditioning environment. Experience leading sport-specific training sessions for youth populations preferred.
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and decision making skills. The candidate must also be mature, highly dependable, and possess the ability to build a good rapport with sport coaches, parents, and other members of the PSM staff and community. A strong background in sport-specific resistance training and conditioning is required.
