The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.
The Senior Supply Chain Master Data Lead will play an integral part in managing Delek's Vendor and Material Master Data Governance operations related to Supply Chain activities. The MDM Lead will monitor and analyze master data, key data, and master relationship data across the enterprise. The MDM Lead will gather requirements, define business needs and build solutions. Working cross-functionally, the Lead will partner with business users in various areas of the enterprise to best understand the current process flow and identify areas for data quality improvements. The Lead will design and lead the data migration and cleansing activities from multiple ERP implementations/versions to a standard solution and perform ongoing governance activities.
Coordinate with internal technical/business teams to document data requirements for all internal/external data transfers.
Work with business/data owners to understand and document their problems. Partner with data engineers to design solutions that best meet the needs of the business.
Develop and implement strategies to translate business requirements and models into data warehouse designs ensuring that business needs are met.
Independently facilitate and run meetings, document, summarize issues and work with project plans with minimal manager intervention.
Manage relationships with external vendors that are critical to the Master Data Governance, including the status of data feeds.
Ensure business users are following proper security protocol for managing and sharing data.
Perform data migration and cleansing activities as required.
Drives efficiency in the P2P process by providing data solutions that facilitate automation and process improvements.
Perform ad hoc reporting and data research as necessary.
Perform other regular duties as assigned as per Master Data Requirements.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
7+ years of experience in a related role
5+ years of experience in Master Data Governance
Master Data Governance Certification preferred
Extensive background in data migration processes and tools
SAP master data management, specifically related to Vendor and Material Masters as well as data related to procurement operations (Requisitions, PO’s, Output Condition Records)
ERP implementation experience desired
Demonstrated ability to drive change with a focus on continuous improvement
A strong collaborator across the business, Supply Chain and other support functions
