At the Institute of Professional Practice, great care and consideration is given to creating a therapeutic match between an individual who has significant developmental/intellectual/medical disabilities and the Shared Living Provider. Family styles, philosophies, composition, and common interests, are some of the factors that influence IPPI's matching process. IPPI welcomes applicants from single adults as well as families. At this time, we have the following specific need:
**Male, female or a couple with or without kids. Preferably that has an in law apartment or finished basement. A SLP that is motivated and enjoys going out. Preferably in the Fitchburg, Leominster, Gardner area. Individual is mainly independent with most daily activities but may require verbal reminders to complete daily living tasks.
** A couple or male staff that enjoys sports, is active, enjoys going out, has older children, Fitchburg, Leominster Gardner area, enjoys the Special Olympics.
** Preferably a male, with no children or a couple with no children. Individual would like to live in the country or a house that is apart from other houses, cannot live in an apartment, likes dogs and cats, individual is independent but may need verbal reminders to complete daily living tasks, currently does not attend a day program.
** Male, female or a couple without kids. A SLP that is motivated and enjoys going out. Preferably in the Fitchburg, Leominster, Gardner area. Individual is mainly independent with most daily activities but may require verbal reminders to complete daily living tasks. Individual attends a day service three days a week and needs verbal prompts and motivation to attend.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule
- Satisfactory CORI and reference check
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Active in the Community
- Preferably with a Medical Background and can deal with individuals with diverse medical needs
Experience in supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
