5-10 years of experience in Mainframe development / application analysis
Skill set needed:
Languages: COBOL, JCL, SQL, VSAM, CICS, IMS DC
Databases: DB2, IMS DB
Tools: SPUFI, ENDEVOR, CHANGEMAN, FILE-AID, CA7, ABEND AID, Work bench, TEST DIRECTOR, QUALITY CENTER
Experience with CCM preferred
Strong analytical and technical skills
Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good prioritization and time management skills
Must be willing to work diligently to meet project deadlines
Open to travel
Work collaboratively with project team to analyze existing applications and create the functional/technical specifications
Interact with clients/offshore team for requirements gathering
Perform reviews on the deliverables delivered by developers and ensure compliance with application quality.
Clarify problems and queries raised by the offshore team
Participate in release activities
