This position is responsible for developing and managing a network of providers in an assigned territory to ensure delivery standards and goals are met. This position provides training and support to those providers in order to meet quality standards and to monitor compliance to contractual terms.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to inventory control, on-site inspections, field evaluation and resolution of customer claims and complaints regarding Residential Solutions Programs.
Selects, trains and manages contractors for Residential Solutions Programs
Works customer claims and complaints for Residential Solutions Programs
Manages contractor inventory
Coordinate and facilitate training for other departments and less senior employees
Basic/Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management or related degree and four (4) years related work experience
OR High School/GED degree and eight (8) years related work experience
Desired Qualifications
Three (3) years electrical, mechanical work experience
Good understanding of residential electrical wiring and electrical codes
Strong oral communication skills and ability to handle escalated customer situations
Excellent negotiation skills
A good understanding of business processes of providers and the factors which influence their business
Prior work experience showing the ability to produce results and make sound business decisions independent of daily supervisory control
Proficiency with personal computer programs
Ability to develop and facilitate training classes
Ability to handle highly escalated customer and contractor situations
Possess one of the following qualifications
Currently hold all necessary pre-exam qualifications for either North Carolina, South Carolina or Florida Unlimited Electrical Contractor license.
Currently hold all necessary pre-exam qualifications from a state with a reciprocity agreement with either North Carolina, South Carolina or Florida for Unlimited Electrical Contractor license.
Currently hold an active Unlimited Electrical Contractor license for either North Carolina, South Carolina or Florida.
Currently hold a Unlimited Electrical Contractors license from a state with a reciprocity agreement with either North Carolina, South Carolina or Florida.
Currently hold an inactive Unlimited Electrical Contractors license for either North Carolina, South Carolina or Florida which is qualified for activation.
Currently hold an inactive Unlimited Electrical Contractors license from a state with a reciprocity agreement with either North Carolina, South Carolina or Florida.
Working Conditions
Field Mobility Classification – Work will be performed in various field locations, as needed, after the onboarding period. However, field employees are required to live within a reasonable daily commute to the assigned work location.
The assigned work location will be within the Triad area (i.e. Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, NC)
