What You’ll Get to Do:
You will support a DoD Intelligence Agency to provide contract closeout support, and support high priority closeouts .
More About the Role:
As a Contract Closeout Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Providing expert advice to senior staff in contract closeout administration and delivers executive level management and oversight to the contract closeout process;
Reviewing contracts for cradle-to-grave close out actions;
Responding to internal and external questions related to close out activities;
Administratively resolving over/under runs, funding requirements and related close out needs; and
Preparing internal close out packages to include final voucher, forms, close out statements and all other certifications/requirements for Contracting Officer (CO) review and signature.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Business related field required;
Six (6+) years of progressive government contract experience;
Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills; and
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools, including SharePoint.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
FAC-C or DAWIA level I or II certification in contracting; and
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and acquisition planning.
