Q Bay is looking for Investment Intern. In this role, you will develop expertise in the healthcare sector by conducting fundamental company and financial analysis under the supervision of the Portfolio Manager. The position is located in Boston with the option of working remotely.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct industry-level research (e.g., therapeutic area mapping, pipeline analysis, commercial and regulatory assessment)
- Build and maintain financial models
- Develop industry networks among KOLs, research scientists, investors, brokers, etc. to assist fundamental research
Competencies and Skills:
- 1-3 years of the following experiences are highly preferred but not required
- HF/PE/VC/sell-side analyst covering healthcare sub-sectors
- Top tier management consulting focusing on healthcare
- Top tier investment banking focusing on healthcare
- Strategy, BD, or R&D roles at major pharmaceutical or biotech companies
- Ph.D. in the biomedical field or MD degree is preferred but not required
- Fluency in Chinese is a plus but not required
