Coordinate and acquire all necessary qualified internal resources to supports given project, which includes clerical support, and interface with Planning Design Organization and Logistics Organizations.
Provide full service job Identification as required. This may include, but not limited to Detailed GO 95 and 165 Inspections. Determine the scope of the job including review of the WO package, Materiel coordination through the Corporate Warehouse, Construction management report, switching orders, Crew Logs, Quality, and MVP’s
Review all switching orders prepared by the CC 1s and CC2s and coordinate approvals through the districts
Supervises Material Tech Aide
Provide daily status and coordination with the Districts DOCS, and Substations related to all projects on going in an assigned area. Act as single point of contact for all assigned projects, which may include multiple Edison departments and project source
The construction coordinators’ duties would include but not be limited to:
Performing and documenting inspections utilizing the approved QCL at minimum frequencies as defined by the Program Plan.
In-field review of the crews’ inspection QCLs
Provide coordination for scheduled outages, interfacing with construction and circuit work and related activity being performed by others.
Complete required documentation per Edison
Qualified by SCE to hold clearances and no test orders.
Prepares switching procedures for all electrical work.
Ten years’ experience in electrical transmission and line distribution construction and prior experience as a journeyman lineman.
Five years minimum contractor management experience and also meet the listed requirements of CC2.
Knowledge of the following: Distribution Design Standards, Overhead Construction Standards, Underground Construction Standards, Underground Structures Manual, Electrical Service Requirements, General Order 95, General Order 128, Operations and Maintenance Manual, Assembly Users Guide, Edison System of Manuals, Joint Pole Handbook.
