Actionable has a dedicated Content & Editorial department seeking an experienced and competent content manager to join our team. SEO experience is a must. This position will require you to research and build out written content schedules and campaigns in line with best SEO practices.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing comments/suggestions to our team about the content uploaded to our client's sites daily. You will be expected to contribute innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance our company's productivity and improve procedures and systems. You will be collaborating with the content team to ensure that the content is both engaging and optimized for search engine optimization. You will also be responsible for reviewing and implementing all proposed content adjustments from our admin team. Our goal is to create content that is insightful, helpful, and relevant.
Responsibilities
- Keyword/SEO Audits and Research using tool like Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs
- Collaborate with team on client content plans
- Lay out and plan client content campaigns
- Monitor clients campaigns
- Edit news articles that are uploaded daily on our client’s websites
- Use and update the existing list of news sources
- Meet all deadlines and oversee the production of publications on time
- Participate in and support marketing strategy with the team
- Recommend new products/strategies
- Monitor published content to ensure proper team execution
- Be educated about SEO-driven content, ensuring that it is well-written, optimized, interesting, and provides a world-class user experience
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal documentation encompassing content standards, guidelines, and procedures
- You will work in tandem with our content editors and manager providing detailed feedback while consistently meeting deadlines
About You
- You have a demonstrated history of enhancing/optimizing web content
- An enthusiasm for planning and executing content strategies
- A degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a similar field is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience with Grammarly, AI detection, plagiarism detection, Google Docs, and other editing tools
- Familiarity with project administration software such as Asana
- SEO experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating and leading a team
- Expert editing skills: You have excellent knowledge of the most recent AP Style rules and best practices for online writing, as well as a fundamental awareness of core SEO ideas.
