We are seeking motivated personnel to assist senior level technicians with providing technical audio-visual, multi-media and video support services for meetings, conferences and training session. This opportunity supports a leading, national cyber-defense related mission utilizing JWICS and other conference/desktop VTC solutions, as well as, Planar video wall display systems and is perfect for those desiring career progression through increasing levels of responsibility and use of newer technologies. Advancement opportunities exist within the same task and elsewhere within GDIT. Candidates must work well independently and with a team.

Desired Experience:

  • Perform system administration for a variety of desktop and network enabled video systems, inclusive of secure VTC systems.
  • Set up, manage and maintain VTC equipment for customer meeting requirement needs. This includes active monitoring and overall analysis of system performance during high-level meetings to ensure satisfactory operation.
  • Perform maintenance actions including inspections, service contract management (SLAs), and system upgrades.
  • Maintain and update AV networking, control diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides.
  • Aid with troubleshooting hardware, software, and infrastructure which support AV systems. Act as organization liaison with AV network operation centers (NOCs)
  • Install video switching devices, media converters, wall monitors/televisions, and video control devices that support AV systems.
  • Provide technical assistance and AV setup training to users.
  • Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have limited supervisory responsibilities.
  • Assist with asset inventories, ensuring property records are accurate and current.

  • Education 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.

    Qualifications - Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification is highly desirable, but not required.

    - Candidates must have an Active TS clearance and be SCI eligible. Must also be able to pass a CI Polygraph or have a current CI Polygraph.
