The Strayer University Portfolio leader is a senior positon with the SEI shared services Portfolio organization. The position title will be consummate with experience. This position will lead a team of individuals, focusing on creating and optimizing the Strayer product portfolio to gain market share and bolster growth for the organization aligned both to the current year, as well as future 2023 SEI enterprise goals.
The Strayer University Portfolio Leader will have 3 primary responsibilities:
- Grow New Markets and Partnerships on behalf of Strayer University
- Optimize the Existing Strayer University Portfolio
- Increase revenue, increase productivity and reduce costs
The three key responsibilities will be aligned to assessing and understanding the external market to bring economic mobility to Strayer University students, by creating and maintaining relevant and meaningful educational opportunities, advancing their careers and transforming their lives.
A key element of the role of the SU Portfolio leader is to partner with key stakeholders and understanding the value of speed. This will be delivered by exemplifying the SEI leadership behaviors and guiding principles. Key partners will be, and are not limited to: The Capella University Portfolio team, the SEI Portfolio Operations team, Strayer University Academic Leadership and Administration, Employability team, Marketing, Admissions and Advising, Campus Leadership, B2B, Course Development, Analytics, Marketing Insights, Innovation, as well as the Customer Experience teams, all in an effort to leverage the Strayer University Portfolio as a foundation for delivering organic growth and profitability, while ensuring:
- More ROI to Students
- Improved graduation rates
- A fostered change in student mix
The Strayer University Portfolio leader will have a very high focus on university and enterprise strategy, have experience in creating and executing successful portfolio and product strategies and change management plans, will develop personas and segmentation strategies in partnership with their colleagues, and will create centers of excellence for both professional areas of accountability as well as for degree level external market expertise. In addition to functional excellence, the SU Portfolio leader will have manage a team of leaders, have a track record of developing high performance teams, and will be known from exemplifying SEI leadership behaviors in themselves and in their teams.
