We are searching for a Business Development Associate who will work with the Business Development Sr. Manager to proactively market and sell GuideStone’s retirement plans to increase revenue. This position is responsible for a coordinated plan of follow-up to marketing requests and supporting the Sr. Manager in all phases of the retirement plan sales process. In addition, the Business Associate will cross-sell insurance, institutional, retail, & P&C services to evangelical churches and institutional prospects.
The Business Development Associate candidate needs to have the following characteristics:

Proficient technical skills with Windows based software, CRM, as well as other internal data programs

Conduct regular telephone, email and web conferences with prospective clients to discover and enlist prospects for all GuideStone plans and products.
Utilize CRM to implement, track and close opportunities with prospective clients and centers of influence.
Develop, maintain and monitor CRM statistical data for the Business Development department as well as develop prospects reports.
Produce various metric CRM reports to identify progress within Business Development. (i.e. Power BI, sales pipeline, open opportunities, activity statistics, etc.).
Develop investment fund comparisons for clients/prospects utilizing Morning Star or other resources. Assist with researching ancillary plan fees for comparisons.
Provide administrative and sales support to the Business Development Sr. Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
Financial Industry/Marketing Sales experience preferred
Proficient technical skills as well as expertise in MS Office
Ability to effectively communicate with GuideStone participants, as well as all levels of GuideStone employees.
Good organizational and planning skills
