Phononic is looking for an experienced electro-mechanical Program Manager to lead planning and execution of new product projects. The Program Manager will be responsible for successfully delivering projects on-time, on-budget, within scope as defined by the engineering leadership and respective business units. This leadership role is critical to ensuring successful strategic growth within Phononic.


Plan, coordinate, and direct one or more new product initiatives throughout the product development lifecycle.
Provide cross-functional leadership (e.g., engineering; marketing; manufacturing) in the management, communication, reporting, and tracking of the project.
Facilitate effective decision making and issue resolution.
Drive corrective action as necessary to keep project on track and escalate as needed.
Develop and manage project resource plan (internal and external) to complete project deliverables.
Develop and manage milestone schedules and ensure deliverables are being executed according to the published timeline.
Create, and maintain project-related expense budget.
Provide effective leadership and communication.


Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related technical BS degree and a minimum of 7 years’ experience leading electro-mechanical industrial product projects. Strong understanding of engineering, project management, and new product development principles. Proficiency with project management and product development tools and activities. PMP certification a plus. Demonstrated experience in Lean Process Improvement, and Visual Management.

Demonstrated ability to successfully work with technical resources on feasibility, timing, and risk/contingency plans.
Ability to communicate clearly, transparently, concisely, and on a timely basis with business leaders, project teams, and external partners.
Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships across all functions and business units.
