Due to expansion, Legacy Physiatry Group is looking for Nurse Practitioners to join a rapidly growing practice that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our patients in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Huntsville, TX and surrounding region.

Job Description:
-Performs a wide range of activities, which include but not limited to: assessment, history & physical, recommendations for patient plan of care
-Monitors patient progress
-Maintains patient medical records according to established standards
-Maintains communication with the supervisory physician(s) and attending physician to review patient records and care plans on a routine basis
-Ability to collaborate with attending physicians, facility staff members and other agencies as needed to coordinate optimal care and use of resources for the patient/family
-Effective verbal, written and electronic communication skills
-Ability to code encounters appropriately and pass periodic coding audits
-Outstanding organizational and time management skills
-Ability to work independently-Interacts as a team member with all levels of clinical staff
-Mandatory attendance and participation in facility meetings
Qualifications:
-Experience required in the diagnosis, treatment and management of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation issues in geriatric and/or adult populations required.
-Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and certification approved or recognized by the State of Texas
-DEA License
-ACLS/BLS certifications
Qualifications for Nurse Practitioners:
-Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) as an Adult, Family, or Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
-Active license, AANP, or ANCC certification and credentialing in the State of Texas
