Bose Corporation is looking to hire a mid-level attorney to join the team of lawyers supporting research, product development, product marketing, and technology acquisition.

What we need you to do:
We need you to support a full range of legal issues for a fast-growing Wellness business that includes products focused on sleep and hearing. You will partner with a dynamic business to navigate legal issues and enable the business to achieve its mission. You will work closely with internal clients and other members of the Legal Department to support product design and development, regulatory compliance, marketing, collaborations and partnerships. You will be responsible to draft and negotiate all types of contracts, and to identify and advise on a variety of legal issues including privacy. Your internal clients will need your creative thought leadership and careful analysis. You will manage outside counsel in multiple jurisdictions.
You will be responsible for your own internal clients in the Wellness business and will assist with respect to Wellness broadly. Above all, we need you to be a smart, proactive, and energetic member of our group with strong accountability and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Who you are:
You have 4 – 6 years’ experience at a major law firm
You can independently draft complex commercial contracts
You are able to navigate a variety of new issues relevant to product development including transactional, regulatory, marketing, research and development, and clinical matters based on your own expertise and leveraging outside resources
You may have some experience with medical devices
You enjoy working with people and care about providing excellent customer service
You know how to listen to clients and how to make complex legal issues comprehensible and actionable
You are excited to independently take on new challenges
You are passionate about excellence in the practice of law
You have a JD and admission to at least one US state bar
