The QA Program Manager is responsible for creating, establishing, maintaining, updating, disseminating, training and successful implementation of the E2 Optics (QMS) Quality Management System and Lean initiatives to ensure the projects are constructed efficiently and effectively in accordance to customer and industry standards. The QA Program Manager role shall drive “First Time Right” quality strategies and Lean Operating Principles to develop and foster a continuous improvement culture, increase quality, reduce waste, increase profitability and consistently deliver value to the customer.
This position can be based out of any E2 office locations. Travel will be required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and execute First Time Right tactics to comply with the E2 Optics QMS, client’s quality requirements and industry recognized better practices, (i.e. ISO 9001:2015).
Provides leadership to develop, update, implement and disseminate the E2 Optics QMS in accordance to the established implementation plan.
Responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of projects using LEAN methodologies.
Develop quality metrics that effectively measure quality performance at the shop floor, make them visual, transparent and drive continuous improvement based on the KPI attributes.
Strategize quality activities to encourage behaviors that support/develop First Time Right and quality awareness culture across the business.
Confirm quality standards are formalized, anchored and executed in accordance Client’s program and E2 established QMS requirements.
Coach and mentor coaching to internal employees to foster quality culture and integrate quality initiatives into their daily activities.
Collaborate with Client’s program representatives to coordinate applicable quality expectations and update existing standards to reflect.
Drive continuous improvement activities and support Lean initiatives to align with corporate strategic goals.
Track, trend and drive problem solving for recurring program level non-conforming observations.
Share better practices and learnings across the Client’s program sites (Yokoten) for inspiration and implementation.
Represent E2 Optics and coordinate with program customer for QA/QC related topics and requirements.
Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2.
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline, post-graduate studies or degree preferred.
ASQ CQM, CQE or similar quality certifications.
FOA and/or BICSI certifications preferred.
7+ years role as Quality Assurance/Quality Management professional in leadership roles for ISO or similar quality regulated industrial environment.
3+ years Continuous Improvement leader creating, developing and executing LEAN program initiatives.
Data Center infrastructure experience preferred.
Advance skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confined spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
