We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker for a temporary assignment in the Emergency Department at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00pm

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include crisis intervention, early identification, high risk screening and readmission screening of all patients.

Services include, but not limited to, adjustment to illness, grief and loss counseling, critical care support and intervention during sudden traumatic events, safety assessments, discharge planning, identification of barriers and obstacles to discharge, and coordination of care with multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications
MSW from an accredited school of social work.

Must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. LMSW or LCSW-C

2 years or more of licensed clinical social work experienced in an acute hospital setting.
