In partnership with LeClairRyan, we are currently seeking a Senior Strategic Growth Recruiter who will be a key member of the Strategic Growth team. This position will have responsibility for developing and executing recruitment strategies to identify and attract talented lateral partners. This position is considered in-house and is not an agency recruiting role. The position location is open.

Required Skills

In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer and Director, Human Resources, develops plans to achieve the recruiting strategy and growth goals of the Firm.
Research and plan recruiting efforts for lateral partners, from both a practice area and location perspective, in accordance with the Firm's strategic plan, including prioritize recruiting initiatives by location, practice area and industry sector.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the legal market, industry trends, labor market data and competitors to develop effective sourcing plans and strategies to achieve business needs.
Develops and executes comprehensive recruiting strategies that will guarantee the Firm attracts and hires top lateral partner talent, utilizing traditional and modern/innovative sources to create a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Contact candidates through different methods including cold calling, emailing, and social media to introduce the Firm’s strategic growth goals and discuss potential employment at the Firm.
Works with candidates and firm leadership to insure timely and complete execution the lateral recruiting process.
Develop effective relationships within the Firm and the legal community to have positive influence and impact on the Firm's recruiting plan.
Assist with managing third party recruiter relationships.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree required.
3-5 years legal recruiting experience strongly preferred . Equivalent experience recruiting for high level professional services or executive candidates also considered.
Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and highly organized.
Self-starter; ability to adapt to change.
Strong time management, decision-making and problem solving skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority matters.
Strong computer skills, to include knowledge of social media platforms, database usage, search techniques, and internet research.
