Under the direct supervision of the Brand Communications Director and Communications and Content Strategist, the Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving brand awareness and positive sentiment that supports our business objectives through expanded outreach, social engagement, public relations and relevant content marketing efforts. This position will be tasked with the development of communication strategy that relates to the overall brand strategy within a variety of digital mediums, including social media, emails, blogs, whitepapers, videos, reviews and more. This position is critical in planning and expanding our digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads to increase patient volume and brand recognition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement social media strategy through competitive research, platforms, messaging and audience identification
Develop social media campaigns across platforms to support new customer acquisition goals and drive engagement and conversions
Manage day to day engagement, operations, and social listening across all social platforms
Monitor and respond to reviews across online platforms
Work with marketing representatives to develop and execute email marketing campaigns to include testing, reporting, and analysis to drive open rates, click through rates, and conversions
Responsible for the daily development and maintenance of content, management of the content calendar, and execution of blog and social strategy
Ensure the development, implementation, and engagement of Athletico’s blog
Edit, proof, and copywrite relevant company-branded materials, social media, website and marketing communications
Review and maintain digital KPIs
Ensures consistency of messaging, positioning, brand and graphic standards through digital mediums
Assist Digital Marketing Analyst with website development to achieve digital objectives
Assist in the development and execution of SEO & SEM marketing programs
Maintain current knowledge of the marketplace including competitor services, sponsorship development/sports marketing, referral sources, and Payor information and apply it to Athletico’s growth and development

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Social Media, Digital Marketing or business-related field; or equivalent work experience
Two years of marketing/public relations/communications experience with demonstrated success, preferably in health-related or sports marketing field
Exceptional knowledge of all Microsoft applications, including database applications
Preferred knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Proven ability to work within Website content management system and SEO experience
Preffered knowledge of Adobe Premier or other equivalent video editing software
Strong knowledge working within digital software systems such as CMS, Email Service Provider, Video Production, Media Monitoring
