Experience managing projects interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders/groups in a matrixed organization.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience in e-commerce, including domain expertise in new product introduction, systems (inventory, order, and content management), and logistics/supply chain management.

Ability to independently build and lead project plans, roadmaps, and balance priorities driving projects to completion.

Adept at managing multiple complex projects.

Demonstrated attention to detail with a bias for action, and extremely organized.

Demonstrated cross-functional relationship management skills.

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager for the Google Store, you'll use your passion for e-commerce and consumer electronics.

The Google Store (http://store.google.com) is the company’s online channel for Made By Google products. Our product assortment spans Pixel, Google Home, Chromecast, Google Wifi, VR and accessories. Our team collaborates with cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, UX, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support. You have excellent project and process management skills and a track record of demonstrating technical understanding and sound business judgment.

As a Program Manager, you'll work cross-functionally to launch new products, features and services on our site, and own the management and ongoing operational execution of these programs post release to ensure their continued success. Many of our projects are complex and require external integrations and significant operating dependencies (e.g., logistics, planning, business systems, finance, legal, etc.), and you'll be responsible for ensuring optimal collaboration and project execution across all key functional stakeholders. You're passionate about delivering an excellent end-end customer experience, achieving business as well as product results, and working with multiple external and internal partners.

Responsibilities

Manage projects and execute Google Store product launches. Collaborate with and manage related dependencies owned by cross-functional teams in technical, business and operating roles.

Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX on the development of new features/functionality and their implementation. Advocate for improving/enhancing existing capabilities where appropriate.

Identify needs to develop or improve the Google Store's tools or processes to satisfy customer and business requirements and/or increase overall efficiency.

Manage ongoing programs and operating initiatives on the Google Store.

Coordinate cross-functionally and collaborate with external parties.
