About the Role

MGMA is looking for a Senior Software Architect to join our IT team! The Senior Software Architect is responsible for building, developing, and integrating applications and providing expertise, guidance, recommendations and direction to technical infrastructure and architecture decisions relevant to new system implementations as well as system enhancements. The Senior Software Architect will partner with business units to evaluate business needs and take on a lead role with our development team. About You

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related discipline.
7+ years of experience with all aspects of systems development including project management.
Solid understanding and knowledge of the .NET Framework, including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, WCF, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and MS SQL.
Solid understanding of front-end web UI development, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, andJQuery.
Experience with MVC, Web API, or ODATA
Experience with UI web frameworks, such as KnockoutJS (or similar) and/or Kendo UI (or similar).
Solid understanding and knowledge of commonly used software patterns.
Experience designing and working with n-tier architectures.
Experience with source control systems.
Follows SOLID principles.
