The Community Prevention Youth Counselor is a grant-funded individual that will be responsible for the delivery of school-based and community education and counseling services in an individual or small/large group format, consistent with the program goals of the prevention program, standards of the Council and the NYS OASAS Prevention Guidelines; and for the planning, monitoring, case review, reporting and record documentation.
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or education degree.
Pay scale higher depending on Credential Prevention Professional (CPP) or Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)
