WTVR has been an NPPA Medium Market Television Station of the Year finalist four years in row, while winning the overall award in 2015.
We’re looking for someone who is a skilled shooter, editor and storyteller. We encourage and seek to help each photojournalist grow through critiques, mentoring and being a member of the NPPA.
Through communication and teamwork with our reporters, we produce stories with seamless audio, crisp natural sound, and moments that add meaning to them. We work together to find compelling characters that give our viewers insight into our community.
Responsibilities will include operating ENG/SNG live trucks and mobile transmitting devices. Candidates should possess strong news judgment, excellent technical skills and the ability to work well under deadline. A strong working knowledge of Final Cut X is a plus.
