We are seeking a motivated, detailed Project Engineer to join our team. This position be onsite at either our Austin or San Antonio office. This is a career opportunity to work with a premier leader in the industry. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 plus bonus with an exceptional benefits package (listed below). The project engineer will be responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects. This role will provide support to our sales representatives and manage projects for our customers.
Project Engineer Responsibilities

Develop a thorough understanding of our company products and applications

Review project plans, proposals and contractor bids

Read drawings and prepare takeoffs

Prepare, submit, and track RFIs and submittals

Assist with preparing accurate estimates while maintaining low costs

Study product design, customer requirements, and performance standards to determine project specifications to order equipment and materials from our manufacturers

Interact and provide service to customers to interpret their needs and requirements

Collaborate, communicate, and provide support to the outside sales representatives to ensure project success

Order management of products
-
Coordinate product delivery and manage warranty and related field issues

Prepare O & M Manuals

Maintain our CRM and an organized electronic project filing system
Requirements:
Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, Industrial Distribution, a related technical field required

5 years of related work experience in Commercial Construction

Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications

Detail-oriented, organized and continually strives for accuracy and quality

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where daily tasks are never the same

Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

Excellent customer service and communication skills

A team player with a positive attitude

Familiarity with Bluebeam

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
