Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter is responsible for general administration, recruiting and new hire orientation.

General recruiting – post position openings, screen applicants, conduct phone screens and in-person interviews as requested by the managers, prepare offer letters with final approval from management
Determine and coordinate staffing needs with project managers
Travel to various sites conducting recruitment events
Facilitate the summer intern program including: attending career fairs, conducting interviews, securing housing
Assist in implementing employee retention
General Human Resources Administration

Help maintain company policies and make revisions as needed
Create, update and maintain all job descriptions
Maintain new hire orientation presentation, update new hire forms as needed
Maintain databases to include Elmtree, Deltek and ADP
Assist in planning company-related events
Assist in new hire enrollments and changes to existing enrollment
Assist in benefit terminations/cancellations

Education and Experience

High School diploma required
PHR certification preferred
Degree in Human Resources preferred, applicable curriculum with degree preferred
4 year minimum of Human Resources experience
Construction industry experience highly desired
Benefit administration experience preferred
Desired Skills and Behavior Traits

Computer knowledge – Microsoft Office suite capable and fully proficient
Event planning and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work in a diverse work environment
Must handle challenges with tact and diplomacy
Positive attitude
