The Project Manager is located at Ft Meade MD and is responsible for oversight and execution of the security services contract for the Federal Government. This position reports to the agency Deputy Chief of Security. The Project Manager oversee subordinate security manager and supervisors to ensure proper prioritizing, planning, and scheduling of work activities. Additionally, he/she: oversees and reviews operations; VIP visits, Security Operations center and badging office. to include planning and coordinating budgets; reviews measures of office productivity; monitors issues of professional responsibility; communicates problems/delays and potential solutions to Company and agency management.
Oversees the planning and implementation of security services contract.
Conducts Interviews and hiring to ensure all positions are staffed with qualified personnel IAW contract requirements.
Provides recommendations to update modify or develop new policies and/or procedures and ensure that personnel have adequate information to perform the mission of a specific post.
Provides a Daily Activity Report (DAR) to the Government on workdays Monday through Friday.
Ensures security related actions relating special events and VIP visits at the DHC are completed IAW Government requirements and timelines.
Assists in planning and managing special events at the facility.
Responsible for the management of personnel, budgets and resources.
Reviews work for quality, quantity, timeliness, and adherence to SOPs, Post Orders, State laws and agency policies and procedures.
Evaluates performance and provides feedback; identifies performance issues and takes remedial actions when necessary; recognizes and recommends rewards for good performance.
Identifies staffing requirements and works with management and agency contract providers to fill those staffing requirements. Provides the Chief of Security with a quarterly Integrated Program Review (IPR). Provides to the COR/Site Security Manager a monthly report of the Visitor Authorization Center (VAC) error rate.
Ensures all sensitive or otherwise important issues are documented according to agency policy and procedures.
Maintains open communication, while utilizing sound discretion practices, with the agency stakeholders
Effectively communicates agency and company guidance and policies in a manner that positively promotes the agency Projects.
Safeguards all sensitive and classified materials and equipment in accordance with agency policies.
Performs a variety of administrative duties to include assistance including coordination of administrative escort.

Possess and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
Must possess a minimum of 5 years’ Direct Experience with DOD/Federal agency Security
Minimum of 5 years of Project Management or Senior Supervisor Management experience
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of work Experience and education
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must possess excellent writing and verbal communications skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in JPAS and CMIS preferred, but not mandatory.
